Passed away Friday morning September 14, 2018 in Northglenn, Colorado. Helen was born May 9, 1931 in Kalamazoo, MI a daughter of Lloyd and Mildred (Smith) Biscomb. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life, graduating from Kalamazoo Central High School in 1949 and Kalamazoo College in 1953. She was employed intermittently with the Upjohn Company for 36 years, retiring in 1990. Helen enjoyed church activities, reading, classical music, gardening, Detroit Tigers baseball, crafts and spending time with family. Helen was an exceptional caregiver. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John J. Nemire on February 19, 2002; and a brother, Lloyd Biscomb, Jr. Helen is survived by 2 children, Karen Nemire of Thornton, CO and James (Lawrie) Nemire of Allegan; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandsons; 2 brothers, Donald and Gordon Biscomb; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
