Galesburg, MI Died Sunday morning September 5, 2010. Helen was born January 25, 1952 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a daughter of Cornelius and Winifred Amey Nedervelt. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life and employed with Kalamazoo Valley Community College before retiring. Helen attended the Simpson United Methodist Church and enjoyed bowling. She was preceded in death by her parents; and 2 brothers, Dale and David Nedervelt. Helen is survived by cousins, Dorothy Robert Matlock and Donald Nedervelt all of Kalamazoo, Duane Kay Nedervelt of Kernersville, NC, Kenneth Nedervelt of Kalamazoo, Bernard Nedervelt of Honolulu, HI, and Leonard Nedervelt of California. Private services and burial will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the Laurels of Galesburg. Arrangements were made by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. www.langelands.com . 343-1508.
