FINCH, Mr. Harry L.
of Scotts, Michigan Died Saturday evening July 6, 2013. Harry was born April 9, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois a son of Ernest and Buna Crocker Finch. Years ago, he served Honorably with the U.S. Army. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident for 9 years and was employed with Duo-Therm for 33 years before retiring. Harry was also a member of the Community Baptist Church of Vicksburg. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his first wife, Clara M. Finch on October 20, 1998. On October 18, 2003, he was united in marriage to Katherine A. Hulet-Price Finch who survives. Also surviving, 5 children, Sandra Charles Davis of Battle Creek; Robert Lynne Price of Vicksburg, Steven Linda Price of Kalamazoo, Christine Gregory Guthrie of Portage, and Angela Timothy Michael of Horse Cave, KY; grandson, Matthew Davis of Battle Creek and several other grandchildren; great-grandson, Collin Griffin and several other great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert Jessie Finch of Rochester, MN; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 12 noon Thursday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Graveside services will be held 2:00 Thursday in Oaklawn Cemetery, Sturgis, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Community Baptist Church of Vicksburg or the charity of your choice.
