Georgia Lee Petersen, 73, passed away November 14, 2018. She was born June 2, 1945 in Kalamazoo to the late George and Lucille (Gesler) Grosser. Family was most important to her, especially her grandchildren. She showed this love by volunteering and baking cakes for her daughters' school functions and spending time with her family. She also loved her dogs dearly. She had a love for nature—birds, flowers, and gardening. She enjoyed going up north, reading, and cooking. She also spent a lot of time crocheting hats and scarves to donate to people in need. She was preceded in death by her sister, Cecilia Grosser. She is survived by her husband, Robert "Bob" Petersen; children, Cynthia (Clinton) Fleck and Susan (Ufford Palm) Petersen; grandchildren, Maia and Lindsay Fleck, and Dominic Petersen; sisters, Linda Vanzile and Mary Lintz; and brother, Michael Grosser.
