Elsie Louise (Van Hoose) Belanger

Elsie Louise Belanger passed away Friday evening, May 28, 2021, in Kalamazoo, MI. She was born March 7, 1925, in Clarksville, TX a daughter of Charles and Dora (Taylor) Van Hoose.

Elsie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She had a strong faith in God that helped her through the many years she lived. Family was the most important thing to her. If you asked, she would say "I've had a good life!" She was one tough woman! We were blessed to have her as long as we did! You have been called to Heaven and we will miss you! Your loving family.

On September 4, 1947, Elsie married Donald J. Belanger who preceded her in death on August 1, 1993. She was also preceded by her parents, a brother, C.J. Van Hoose, and a sister, Ella Rodgers. Elsie is survived by her children, Donna (Steve) Bierema, Brian (Karen) Belanger, Wade (Angela) Belanger, and Pamela (John) Walker, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
