Ella Marie Foster

Ella Marie Foster (Rhodes) departed this world April 16, 2019 at the age of 43 from complications of renal failure.

Ella was born March 28, 1976 and was immediately adopted by James and Linda Rhodes. She was raised in Bloomingdale, MI and attended Bloomingdale Schools.

She met the love of her life, her soulmate, Kyle Foster in early 2010 and they were married December 21, 2010.

Ella was preceded in death by her loving hus-beast Kyle and father, James. She is survived by her mother Linda, son Dilen, mother-in-law Sue Foster, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She recently located her birth family and is survived by numerous new family members including her half-brother, Sam.

Ella was a big animal lover and adored her 3 cats. She was a vibrant force to be reckoned with and a master of sarcasm. Ella was a loving and fierce friend to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her large group of friends that she affectionately called her Tribe, and her sisters-of-the-heart, Josie Radny and Mel Tossava.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 25 from 5-8:00 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St., Kalamazoo, MI 49007. A graveside service will be held Friday, April 26 at 1:00 PM at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park South. http://www.langelands.com
