Elaine R. Triezenberg

Went to be with her Lord Friday afternoon August 21, 2015. Elaine was born August 31, 1941 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a daughter of John and Hattie (Kannegieter) Triezenberg. She was a graduate of Kalamazoo Central High School and had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident. Elaine was also a member of the Kalamazoo Protestant Reformed Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister and brother-in-law, Lois and Fred Gunnink. Elaine is survived by siblings, Nellie (John) Kloosterman, Eleanor (Joseph) DeKoekkoek , John (Janice) Triezenberg, Harold (Phyllis) Triezenberg, Franklin (Judith) Triezenberg, and Patricia (Peter) Blok; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held 11 o'clock Tuesday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Private burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the Kalamazoo Protestant Reformed Church.
