JIRGENS, Elaine E. ?Aunt Smokie?
Kalamazoo
Elaine began her life?s journey on March 6, 1934, in ?Phoenixville?, PA, and took her final coffee break in ?Phoenix? AZ, January 26, 2011, with her husband of 60 years, Zigfrids, by her side. Elaine leaves behind five children, William Robin Jirgens, Maija Steve Bird Jirgens, Ziggy Jirgens, Jr., Peter Chris Jirgens, and Rita Jirgens. Elaine loved her jewelry, but her true gems were her five grandchildren, Dana Blankenship, Ryan Blankenship, Jennifer Rayman, Chad Jirgens, and grandma?s princess, Zoe Jirgens-Smalla; three Great grandchildren Mason Blankenship, Morgan and Gavin Rayman; Godchild Silvia Fride; nieces nephews and Morris, her cat. Elaine?s interests included taking care of her first love, Zigfrids, her family and friends. She loved cooking, making snack-os, scrapbooking, shopping, traveling, dancing, and entertaining. She always worried about others instead of herself, giving above and beyond. She was kind hearted, and always called every day to see what was happening.
