Dr. A.D. ISSA

Dr. A.D. Issa was a three degree holder in Finance from the University of Illinois. He received his BS in 1962, his MS in 1963 and his PhD in 1967.

Dr. Issa has had a full and prestigious academic career as well as starting his own advisory firm, Integrated Financial Planning, in 1986. He taught Finance at Western Michigan University for 26 years. His legacy of service, which permeates both his professional career and his active retirement, includes receiving the Alumni Teaching Excellence Award and work for organizations such as the American Association of University Professors negotiating team, the Kalamazoo Humane Society, and the United Holy land Fund which he founded in 1968.

Through his interest in and love for the arts, Dr. Issa has generously given back to his Alma Mater by creating perpetual scholarships at the College of Fine and Applied Arts in support of exceptionally talented students.

Dr. Issa's wishes were for no funeral or memorial services and for no flowers or donations.
