COLMAN, Dorothea M. "Thea"
Of Portage Thea passed away Thursday afternoon, December 10, 2009 at Kairos Dwelling. She was born May 16, 1926 in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of William and Eleanor Devins Wolfrath. Thea was employed as a bookkeeper by several small businesses in both Kalamazoo and Sturgis for many years until her retirement. She was a member of the Unity Church of Kalamazoo. Surviving are her daughter, Diane Kidd of Portage; grandson, Sean Kidd of Gobles; and great-grandson, Levi Kidd of Gobles. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services or visitation. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be directed to Shepard's Center of the Greater Kalamazoo, Loaves and Fishes, or West Michigan Cancer Center. Arrangements have been entrusted to Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street.
