Cubbison, Donald V.
Kalamazoo, MI Beloved and devoted husband, father and grandfather passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2015. Age 87. Donald was born in Butler, PA on March 23, 1927, the son of the late George L. Cubbison and Mary Scott Cubbison. He served with the United States Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He was employed by Burroughs Corporation, retiring after over 38 years of service. He was a former member of Greenfield Presbyterian Church in Berkley, MI, where he served as an Elder and was actively involved with the Men's Club. He was a current member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Portage. He loved golfing and had two holes in one in consecutive years in opening night of his golf league. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Sara McCreadie Cubbison; three daughters, Michele James Marquardt of Kalamazoo, Dawn L. William Crane of Jackson and Sherri James Everett of Berthoud, CO; five grandchildren, Andrew Marquardt, Blythe Crane, Jacob Everett, Scott Everett and Grace Everett; and one brother, Phillip Cubbison of Virginia. He was preceded in death by one sister, Sarah Smith and one brother, George Cubbison Jr. Friends may visit with the family from 10 - 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at the Kiva Room at Friendship Village, 1400 North Drake Road, Kalamazoo, MI 49006, where a memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. Donald will be interred in Ft.
