Passed away on December 4, 2020 at home. Donald was born on March 3, 1946 to the late Dewey and Gereldene (Lawrence) Belote in Greenway, Arkansas.
After graduating from Pontiac Central High School, Donald joined the Air Force in 1965 to serve his country. He was honorably discharged in 1968. Donald attended and graduated from Western Michigan University, and went on to earn his MBA from UCLA. He served as an executive in the pharmaceutical industry for over 30 years. Upon retirement, Donald traveled the world and continued perfecting his golf game.
Most importantly, Donald loved his family beyond measure. The sun rose and set by his two daughters and five grandchildren. Surviving Donald are his daughters, Kathryn Belote and Sarah Olivarez; grandchildren, Ashley Belote, Charlotte DeLobel, Sabrina Olivarez, Anthony Cole Olivarez, and Sophia Olivarez. As per Donald's request, cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be held in his honor, followed by burial at Fort Custer National Cemetery.
