Dean Allen Hart

Died Tuesday morning December 24, 2019 at his residence. Dean was born June 7, 1944 in Beloit, Wisconsin a son of Warren and Myrtle (Updike) Hart. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident since 1983. Dean was preceded in death by his parents. On April 3, 1965, he was united in marriage to Joan M. (Freye) Hart who survives. Also surviving, 2 children, Kevin (Stephanie) Hart of Auburndale, FL and Kim (Dale) Ashmore of Portage; 6 grandchildren, Danielle (Anthony) Whitehead, Alison and Emily Hart, and Devin, Landon and Luke Ashmore; 2 brothers, Charles (June) Hart of Beloit, WI and Dale (Cheri) Hart of Texas; a sister, Melva McClellan of Arizona; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held 11 o'clock Saturday, January 4th at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services, 3926 S 9th St, Kalamazoo, MI 49009. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Graveside services will be 1:30pm in South Portage Cemetery.
