Darrell Wilson Taylor, 58 made his transition on September 26, 2019. Darrell, was born on October 26,1960 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to the late Harold Victor Taylor and Madge (Whaling) Taylor. He was the ninth child of 10 children. Darrell was preceded in death by his father and mother, sister Toni Turpin, brothers El Victor, Hector, and Val.

Darrell attended the Kalamazoo Public School System, Lakeside Academy and Youth Opportunities Limited. He participated in the Michigan Epilepsy Foundation's art therapy program. He loved to travel and go for long rides. Over the years, he visited Mt. Rushmore, South Dakota, Yellowstone National Park, Seattle, WA, Gulf Shores, Al, Houston, TX, and loved going to Chicago, IL. He enjoyed watching Family Feud, Golden Girls, and The Price is Right. He loved doing word search puzzles and playing Petty Pat cards. Most of all he enjoyed listing to music, especially Rhythm & Blues.

He is survived by his sisters Mildred Burch (Alfred), Anita Taylor, and brothers Vincent Taylor (Lenore) Tico Taylor (Vanette), Orlando Taylor (Heather), many nieces and nephews. Darrell was adored and loved by all of his family.

Family will receive friends Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 12:00-1:00p.m. at Langeland Family Funeral Homes. Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th Street, Kalamazoo, Mi 49009 where a Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm.
