Clay passed away on December 22, 2021, at the age of 76. A son of Victor and Josephine (Duzan) Bosfero, he was born February 24, 1945, in Massachusetts. Clay was united in marriage to Miss Clara Baer July 3, 1965, in a small ceremony in front of the fireplace in an apartment on Vine St. Three years later, in 1968 he enlisted in the Marines where he eventually earned the rank of Corporal. Clay became a certified diver in 1985, spending time in many Florida springs. Clay will be remembered as a person who loved adventure, especially metal detecting, exploring the Arkansas diamond mine, and living in different places in the eastern United States. Among the family favorites were time spent in North Carolina and Louisiana. He and Clara enjoyed years of camping and spending part of the year in Merritt Island, FL.
Clay was a man who helped others when he could, several times he bought McDonald's gift cards and handed them out to the homeless. One year his VA compensation check was spent on holiday baskets for aging veterans. According to Clara, this was not an uncommon thing for Clay, he was a generous and kind person.
