Clarajune Wiley

Passed away Sunday May 23, 2021. Clarajune was born August 28, 1928 in Hobart, IN the daughter of Nickolos and Ilda Dekema. Clarajune was raised by adoptive parents Clara and Harry Smith after the death of her mother at an early age. Prior to her retirement she worked at Met Life Insurance as office manager. She enjoyed arranging flowers, pontoon rides on the lake, playing bingo, doing crafts and puzzles, and her Hummel figurine collection. She mostly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. On December 2, 1947 Clarajune was united in marriage to her loving husband, Gordon Wiley who preceded her in death on August 24, 2002. She was also preceded in death by 5 brothers and sisters. Surviving are her children, Cynthia (David) Bristol, James (Cathy) Wiley; grandchildren, Davida Chewe, Rebecca (Aaron) Brooks, Brian Wiley, Brett (Lauren) Bristol; great-grandchildren, Lillian, Arrianna, Aurora, Layla, Zuri, Elizabeth, and Maxim; great-great-grandchild, Maleek; a brother, Wayne (Katie) Smith; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 10:00am Friday, May 28 at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park, 3941 S. Westnedge.
