TACKETT, Cecil C., Jr., "DeDe"
of Galesburg, Michigan Died September 4, 2013 at age 66. Cecil was born July 30, 1947 in Kalamazoo to Cecil C., Sr. and Ruth Snell Tackett. DeDe was united in marriage to Gloria McKay on May 7, 1982. DeDe is survived by his wife, Gloria Tackett; children, Nikki, Mark, Matthew, Paula Jeremy and Benjamin Tennille; 17 grandchildren; mother, Ruth; siblings, Charles Kim, Carla Bob, Pam Jim, Marilyn Ken and Terri; and many nieces and nephews. DeDe is preceded by his father, Cecil, Sr.; sister, Leilani and brother-in-law, Leon. Family will greet friends on Sunday, September 8th from 2-4pm or 6-8pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel, 6121 King Hwy. Committal service will take place Monday, September 16th , 2:30 at Ft. Custer National Cemetery with military honors. Those wishing to be in the funeral procession going to the cemetery should meet at the Comstock Chapel no later than 1:30. Memorials may be directed to the family.
