Carol William Sharpsteen

Mr. Carol "Bill" Sharpsteen, 87, passed away peacefully on Thursday May 27, 2021 in Galesburg MI. Bill was born on January 10, 1934 in Battle Creek, MI to the late Carol and Louise (Williams) Sharpsteen. Bill served honorably in the U.S. Army for over 20 years until he retired in March of 1972, at the rank of Master Sergeant. Bill is survived by his children, Nancy (Bill) Howard, Shirley (Terry) Golden and William "Bill" Sharpsteen; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Ann Kingsnorth; and several nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his brother, Anson Sharpsteen. A graveside service will be Monday, June 14, 2021 at 10:00am at Ft. Custer National Cemetery with full military honors. Those attending should be at the funeral gathering area at Ft. Custer between 9:45 - 10:00am.
