Kalamazoo Passed away Sunday, January 23, 2011. Carol was born April 28, 1956 in Kalamazoo, a daughter of Raymond and Ardyce Austin, and was a lifelong resident of the Kalamazoo area. On December 2, 1978, she married Richard Jaquays, who survives. She is also survived by their children, Dawn Robbins of Burlington, MI, Christine Salvagio of Kalamazoo, Cathrine Larry Drewer of Mendon, Richard Jolee Jaquays of Portage and Doug Renee Jaquays of Portage; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 3 sisters; and 4 brothers. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 PM in the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave., with Pastor Ed Schmidt officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
