BLAKLEY, Bonnie F.
of Portage, Michigan Passed away Wednesday afternoon, October 23, 2013. Bonnie was born July 8, 1928 in Springfield, IL the daughter of the late Benjamin and Hattie Ross Tipps. She enjoyed crocheting, baking, and spending time with her family. On June 27, 1953 she was united in marriage to her loving husband of 60 years, Kenneth Blakley who survives. Also surviving are her sons, Kenneth Susan Blakley, David Nancy Blakley; 5 grandchildren, Candice, Rachelle, Megan, Stephen, and Amanda; 8 great-grandchildren; a sister, Norma Clark; and many nieces and nephews. Bonnie was preceded in death by a grandson, Kenneth Steven Jr.; and seven brothers and sisters. A graveside service will be held at 11:30am Monday in the chapel at Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Kalamazoo Missionary Church, or St. Catherine of Siena.
