Formerly of Kalamazoo Passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2015. Age 94. Betty was born in Three Rivers, MI on April 3, 1921, the daughter of the late John Paul Warner and Vera D. Davis Warner. She was a member of Trinity Reformed Church. She worked for the Gobles Pharmacy for many years. She enjoyed painting and was a founding member of the Friends in Art painting group. She also enjoyed art, quilting and cake decorating. She was married to James Schreuder in 1940; he preceded her in death in 2002 after 62 years of marriage. Betty is survived four children, Lynne David Sandula of Pinckney, Susan Gil Henry of Adrian, Nancy Schreuder of Kalamazoo and John Barb Schreuder of Kalamazoo; one son-in-law, David Berry; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one sister-in-law, Sara Rich VanMaaren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Jamie Berry. Friends may visit with the family from 10 - 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 14th at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., officiated by Rev. Kevin Kleinheksel. Private interment will take place later in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park, South. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Alamo Nursing Home, American Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
