Betty Louise (Ebelink) Doan

Betty Louise Doan died Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at the Bickford of Portage assisted living facility. She was born October 15, 1925 in Kalamazoo, MI, the daughter of the late John and Louise (Ouding) Ebelink, and step father Reuben Deuel.

After graduating from Centerville High School, Betty took business classes at Parsons Business School. She then worked at Buck Tool Company and Consumers Power Company as an Executive Secretary.

On January 8, 1955, Betty married Jess A Doan of Kalamazoo, MI, who preceded her in death on November 22, 1999. The two of them enjoyed traveling, especially cruises, playing cards, hanging out with friends, and spending time with their grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Betty is survived by her daughter Terri Pence (Robert), Thomas Doan, Todd Doan (Melissa), six grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Amber, Tommy, Anna, Claire; and three great grandchildren, Jesse, Blake and Eliott.

Private graveside services will be held in Mount Ever-Rest Memorial Park, South.
