WILCOX, Mr. Bernard J.
of Gobles, MI Died Tuesday morning December 6, 2011. Bernard was born June 1, 1925 in Orangeville Township, Michigan a son of John and Mable Montgomery Wilcox. During WWII, he served with the U.S. Army. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of his life and was employed and with Menasha Paper Mill for 37 years before retiring. He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 children, Kathy Wilcox, Billy Wilcox, and Teresa LaDuke; 2 infant siblings; 2 brothers; and 2 sisters. On May 29, 1964, he was united in marriage to Sylvia J. Bernier Wilcox who survives. Also surviving, 3 children, Bernard Karen Wilcox of Gobles, Karen Ron Ortegel of Harden, MT, Deborah Terry Ferrell of Otsego; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister Esther Kahler and brother Leon Wilcox both of Delton; and several nieces and nephews. Private services and burial will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the Michigan Heart Fund.
