of Schoolcraft, Michigan Arlene Ruth Reams, age 98, of Schoolcraft passed away on Monday, June 9, 2014. She was born in Bangor, MI on April 20, 1916 to William and Harriet Meachum. She was the last living of seven siblings. She was married for 57 years to Roscoe H. Reams who preceded her in death on December 21, 1994. Arlene devoted her life to her family and her God. She believed in hard work and thrift. She gave far more than she received and thought that was the proper way to conduct one's life. Arlene is survived by 2 children, Fred W. Karen Reams of South Haven and Linda K. Ranger of Schoolcraft. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. A graveside memorial service will take place at the Hoppin Cemetery in Bangor at 11:00 am on Thursday. Arrangements by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 East Centre Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of Southwest Michigan are suggested.
