Kalamazoo Loving mother and grandmother passed away on Friday, May 1, 2015 at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence with family at her side. Age 87. Anne was born in Chicago, IL on December 26, 1927. She graduated from Siena High School in Chicago. She was employed as an Executive Secretary for First National Bank for over 30 years. During her years in the banking industry, she was a member of Kalamazoo Legal Secretaries and was a Past-President of the organization. Anne was a born again Christian, who loved the Lord and was a member of Westwood Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Donald Lisa Walley, Diane Farley Tucker, Phil Walley and Cheryl Mike Anderson; grandchildren, Bret Jenni Tucker, Briana Tucker, Matthew Walley, Stephanie Walley, Madilyn Anderson and Connor Anderson. She was preceded in death by her son, Raymond Walley; husband, Thomas Walley; three sisters and one brother. Friends may visit with the family from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St., Kalamazoo, MI 49009. The funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Thursday at the Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Victor Downing. Private interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.
