Chatham, NJ Andrew "Andy" Petropoulos passed away Thursday, January 2, 2014 in his home at the age of 62. He was born December 28, 1951 in Flint, Michigan a son of James T. and Thelma Kostopoulos Petropoulos. He moved to New Jersey in 1973. He worked at AT&T Bell Labs and Lucent Technology. Andy also worked many years for Saks Fifth Avenue, retiring in 2010. Andy was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by: his brother, Ted Joanne Petropoulos of Portage; two nephews, Andrew "Drew" Petropoulos of Grand Rapids and Michael Petropoulos of Portage; and a niece, Alissa Petropoulos of Portage. Services will be held 11:00 Wednesday morning, January 8, 2014 at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 507 S. Westnedge Ave. with Father Theoharis, officiating. Interment in Genesee Prairie Cemetery will follow services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association.
