West Bloomfield ALVIN L. KUSHNER, age 87, of West Bloomfield, died Monday, August 19, 2013. Surviving are his three children, Gary Kushner, Joel Annette Kushner and Blanche Pat Flood Kushner; grandchildren, Kelly Derek Steiner, Jeff and Lucas Kushner, Jacob and Michael Kushner, Graham and Harrison Kushner, Stephanie Matt Wood Kushner; four great-grandchildren, Molly and Mackenzie Steiner, Izaiah Erickson and Madysen Wood. Preceding him in death was his beloved wife, Ruth Kushner in 2002; his parents; sister, Blanche Ell and brother, Jack Kushner. A private graveside service will take place in Jewish Riverside Cemetery, Kalamazoo. Memorial contributions may be directed to Seasons Hospice www.seasons.org or a charity of one's choice. Alvin's family would like to thank the staff of the American House, Seasons Hospice and The Medical Team for all the care and attention he had received through the past several years.
