of Kalamazoo Passed away August 24, 2010 at Tendercare of Kalamazoo at the age of 80 years. Albert was born January 12, 1930 in Kalamazoo, MI. Albert was preceded in death by his father, Albert H.; mother Sinnie; wife Joan Bennett Rustenholtz , of almost 40 years; his sister Tessie; brother Chuck; sister Dorothy; step-son John Walker; and step-daughter Bonnie. Surviving are his brother Robert Pat Rustenholtz, Sr.; step-sons Merlin and Ronald; step-daughters Helen and Junnette; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and grandkids. Albert enjoyed living at his apartment at Crosstown parkway where he enjoyed talking with his friends and playing card games for hours. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has already taken place. A Memorial Service will take place Saturday, 10:00 o'clock, at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. A private burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery at a later date. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, Hospice of SW Michigan or a charity of one's choice.
