SAGARA, Adam M.
Portage Adam passed away suddenly Tuesday morning, August 15, 2006. Adam was born November 16, 1989, in Kalamazoo, MI, the son of Mikel and Lori Langeland Sagara and had been a life long area resident. He attended Portage Central High School and was about to begin his junior year. Adam grew up playing sports and was a gifted athlete. As a young boy he excelled in baseball, football and soccer then focused on skateboarding in his teens. In recent years, Adam�s interests of cinematography lead him to begin making skateboarding videos. He also took time for his studies and enjoyed helping his family. Surviving are his: father, Mikel & Barbara Sagara of Portage; mother, Lori & Charles P. Wajszczuk of Whitehouse Station, NJ; 4 sisters and 1 brother, Alison & Amanda Sagara and Katie, Lizzie & C.J. Wajszczuk; grandparents, George & Kathy Sagara of Kalamazoo, Joyce & Charles Farho of Portage and Charles F. Wajszczuk of Nutley, NJ; great-grandparents, Fumiyo Sagara of Huntington Beach, CA, Herald Grosser of Portage and Henrietta Langeland of Kalamazoo; aunts and uncles, Judy Sagara & Tom Sherman, Jim & Tracie Sagara, Tod & Renee Langeland and Bob & Claire Wajszczuk; and many other relatives. Adam will be greatly missed by his many friends including, his best friend, Brett Patten. Adam was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Helen Sagara, and maternal grandfather, Kenneth Langeland. Services will be held 10:30 Saturday morning at Third Reformed Church, 2345 North 10th Street, with his Pastor, the Rev. Dr. Robert Terwilliger of Bethany Reformed Church, officiating. Interment in Genesee Prairie Cemetery will follow services. Friends and family will gather on Friday for visitation from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street.
