Kalamazoo, MI Ada May Bair Bahr 90 born in Ludington, MI, to Forrest and Nora Andersen Bair on August 10, 1923, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2014. She is survived by Edmund, her beloved husband of 71 years and 4 children, Violet Chuck Ballard of Emmaus, PA, Glen Linda Bahr of Rome, NY, Ilene Dave Corstange of Portage, and June Mark Ver Sluis of Plainwell. Also a sister, Marion Barhitte of Washington, 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and half brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Elaine, a son, Dwayne, her sisters Lauretta Peterson and Marjorie Bair, and her brothers, Albert Bair and Auris Bair. She has been a resident of Kalamazoo most of her life, graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She served with the Lutheran Braille Workers, the Gloria Dei Singers and the Altar Guild. Visitation 6 to 8 pm Thursday, May 29, 2014, at Langeland Family Funeral Home, 622 South Burdick St., Kalamazoo, and Friday, May 30, 2014 preceding the service which will be held at 11:00 o'clock, at Zion Lutheran Church, 2122 Bronson Blvd., Kalamazoo. Interment will be Monday, June 2, 2014, 10 am at Fort Custer National Cemetery. Those wishing to attend will meet and proceed from Zion Lutheran Church at 9 am. Memorial gifts can be made to Zion Lutheran Church, Memorial Fund.
